Hound Dog 3D Printing Return Policy


At Hound Dog 3D Printing, we strive to ensure every customer is satisfied with their purchase. We offer a return policy for eligible items under specific conditions outlined below. Please review this policy carefully before initiating a return.


Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns if the following criteria are met:


Timeframe: Returns must be requested within 14 days of the delivery date, as confirmed by the tracking information.

Condition: Products must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. Items showing signs of wear, modification, or damage caused by the buyer will not be eligible for return. Any work started on prints will disqualify item from return.


Defects or Errors: 

Returns are accepted for items that arrive damaged, defective, or do not match the description or specifications provided at the time of purchase (e.g., incorrect size, design, or material). Please note that normal print blemishes such as support scars, small gaps and layers lines do not qualify as defects. They are a normal part of 3D printing and must be cleared up during your post processing stages.


Return Process
Contact Us: To initiate a return, email us at [insert email address] with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the product showing the reason for the return (e.g., damage or defect).
Approval: We will review your request and respond within [insert timeframe, e.g., 2–3 business days] with a return authorization and shipping instructions. Returns without prior approval will not be accepted.


Shipping: 
Returns must be shipped back to us at the buyer’s expense, unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped or manufacturing defect).
A valid tracking number must be provided when shipping the return. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping without tracking.
Inspection: Once received, we will inspect the returned item to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria. This process typically takes [insert timeframe, e.g., 3–5 business days].


Refunds
If the return is approved, we will issue a refund to the original payment method within  5–10 business days of receiving and inspecting the item.


Original shipping costs and return shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases of our error.
For international orders, any customs fees, duties, or taxes incurred are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be refunded.


Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
Custom-made or personalized products (unless defective or incorrect).
Items damaged due to improper handling or use by the buyer.
Products returned after the 14-day window.

Any product in which post processing has been started.


Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately with photos of the product and packaging. We may offer a replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion, and in such cases, we will cover return shipping costs. Blemishes such as support scars, small gaps (1/8") and layer lines are not considered damaged or defective. They are a normal part of printing.


International Returns
For customers outside Canada, please note:
Shipping times may vary, but the 14-day return window begins on the delivery date as confirmed by tracking.
Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes unless the return is due to our error.
